Samsung has announced their 3D Ready PDP TV ‘PAVV Cannes 450′ for the Korean market. The TV features 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 3D content support. Such a high contrast ratio is achieved thanks to Cell Light Control and is equipped with 2008 Ultra Daylight technology and DNIe+ (Digital Natural Image engine+) chipset. You can catch your fav 3D games and movies with the Cannes 450 when you hook the TV to high performance PC supporting 3D software and then wear your 3D glasses. Electronic Arts is coming out with content for TV, they will be dishing out a variety of 3D content for 3D Ready PDP TV. The PAVV Cannes 450 also features enhanced low-sound performance and has adopted a slimline design with an upgraded black panel. It has incorporated three entertainment modes; sports, movie and game.

The Samsung PAVV Cannes 450 is expected to be available for around 1,750,000(KRW) or $1,869 for 42-inch model and 2,500,000(KRW) or $2,669 for 50-inch and the 50-inch full HD PDP ‘PAVV Cannes 550′ will cost around 3,900,000(KRW) or $4,164.

Three full range loudspeakers (1.5 inch) are hidden in the control knobs which provide a crystal clear, room filling sound. An active subwoofer (3 inch) in the back guarantees penetrating basses of excellent clarity. They can also cope with audio sound for large rooms. The double-wall construction is the secret to these excellent acoustics.

A twist is all it takes to remove the integrated FM and AM telescope antenna. You can now connect a 75 Ohm antenna which allows you to comfortably use your cable or satellite connection. All you need to do then is press a button on the cheque card sized, full metal remote control to hear your favourite station. The display shows the station name in the FM range (RDS).
