Palo Alto Networks to introduce its next generation firewall 'PA-4000 Series'

LAS VEGAS, USA (AVING Special Report on ‘Interop Las Vegas 2008′) — Palo Alto Networks introduced its next generation firewall ‘PA-4000 Series’ with PANOS v2.0, which was named a finalist in the security category of the Best of Interop Awards competition for Interop Las Vegas 2008.

The PA-4000 Series combines policy-based application visibility and control with real-time threat prevention to protect traffic flowing through the Internet gateway. Main features include application-centric traffic classification, SSL inspection, application visibility, policy-based application control, user-based visibility and control, real-time threat prevention and networking architecture.
