Samsung SDI to unveil its 12.1-inch AMOLED panel for laptops

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — Samsung SDI unveiled its 12.1-inch AMOLED panel for laptops during SDI(Society for Information Display) 2008, which features 1280 x 768 resolution.

The SID International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition, now in its 46th year, provides access to a wide range of technology and applications from high-definition flat panel displays using both emissive and liquid-crystal technology to the latest in OLED displays and large-area projection-display systems. With more than 550 booths and 8,000 attendees, SID is the leading North American show for the electronic-display industry.
