HP to release its color-critical LCD monitor ‘DreamColor LP2480zx’ in Japan
SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — HP will release its 24-inch wide monitor ‘DreamColor LP2480zx’ in Japan market, which is the world’s only color-critical LCD based on HP DreamColor Engine technology.

Adopting its innovative 30bit LCD panel technology and RGB LED backlight, the DreamColor LP2480zx supports over one billion active colors – 64 times the colors supported by traditional LCDs for virtual elimination of banding or contouring artifacts.
Other features included 1,920*1,200 WUXGA resolution, 12ms response speed, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 250cd/m² brightness. It is expected to be available on June 19th for 399,000(JPY).
