As you can see at the photo above, this is a small size phone for a touchscreen cellphone, it looks like smaller than Sony Ericsson P90i, Hope this not true! . The G900 has a a 5 Megapixel camera, has WIFI 802.11 b/g and also has a business card scanner. Ericsson and TM to expand nationwide optical network in Malaysia

Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) and Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), Malaysia’s leading next- generation communications and broadband provider, have signed a two-year contract for the nationwide expansion of TM’s optical network infrastructure and associated network management. The move will allow TM to meet growing consumer appetite for broadband services, including advanced applications such as Internet Protocol Television (IPTV).

The contract is for the supply of an optical network based on Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technologies, and the provision of installation works and comprehensive maintenance services. The move will significantly boost network speed and performance, and sets the stage for the widespread deployment of a next-generation network, enabling faster speeds and better services for the end users. Deployment started in June 2008.

Huawei Showcases ‘Green’ CDMA End-to-End Solution

[Mauritius, 31 July 2008] Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (”Huawei”), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, has announced that it showcased its industry-leading ‘ green’ CDMA end-to-end solution at the 3rd Global CDMA Operation and Development Forum, which took place on 17 July 2008 in Mauritius.

In line with the forum’ s theme of “future-oriented green evolution”, Huawei proposed that by adopting the latest 4th Generation Base Transceiver Stations (BTS’ s) and ALL IP technology into the CDMA development area and by using ‘ green’ BTS’ s, core networks with multi-network convergence design, green site accessory facilities solutions, and environment protecting energy solutions, operators are able to reduce CO2 emissions and the environmental impact of their CDMA systems.
