First Android phone Samsung Galaxy A on Korea market – Samsung Electronics unveiled Galaxy A, its first Android phone in Korea during World IT Show 2010 to be held from May 25 to 28 in COEX, Seoul.

Running on Android 2.1 OS, the Galaxy A features a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED PLUS screen, 720 MHz processor and DivX support. Adopting a front-facing camera for video calls and a 5-megapixel back facing camera for pictures, it supports T-DMB, Haptic UI, Bluetooth 2.1, 8GB external memory and 1500Mah battery pack.

Applications are available for download in the Android Market as well as SK Telecom’s T-store and Samsung’s own app store Samsung Apps.
