Sony Korea to roll out its ultra-portable pc 'VAIO SR Series'Sony Korea rolled out its new line of ultra-portable PCs ‘VAIO SR Series’ in Korea market. Constructed of lightweight, durable magnesium alloy, the SR notebooks are available in three striking colors – silver, black and pink.

The VAIO SR Series features ‘Switch’ technology enabling customized modes for home, work and entertainment. You can customize each mode with its own wallpaper and a set of five shortcuts to correspond to various scenarios. Set your favorite websites for home, office applications for

Samsung ‘BlackJack III’ available next week in Korea

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — Samsung Electronics unveiled its 3G HSDPA smartphone ‘BlackJack III(model: SCH-M480)’ dubbed as ‘Ultra Messaging 2′ in Korea market. It will be available in the mid of July through SK Telecom for around 600,000 won.

Running on Windows Mobile 6 Professional, the SCH-M480 can work with Microsoft Office documents, browse the web, play a variety of multimedia files and read email. Supporting wireless LAN(802.11b/g), Bluetooth connectivity, it adopts a 2.6-inch touchscreen display with 320×320 pixel resolution, a BlackBerry style keypad and finger mouse. Other features included a 2M camera for video calling, MP3/MPEG4, WMV files support, and micro SD card slot.

Sony Korea announced the launch of its S-Frame brand of digital photo frames, offering vibrant LCD screens and stylish designs suitable for the living room, bedroom or office.

The new DPF-V900 and DPF-D70 digital photo frame models have WVGA resolution(800 x 480 pixels) along with 15:9 aspect-ratio screens to showcase your digital pictures with detail and clarity. Inside the black bezels of these thin frames is an advanced image processor that scales and displays images up to 48 megapixels, making the frames capable of handling photos taken with the most advanced digital cameras.

The two new frames offer convenient features such as 10 slide show variations, clock and calendar views, and two index modes so you can preview several photos at once. You can also conserve energy by using the auto power on/off setting to program when you want the frame to turn on in the morning and off at night.
