Great News Blog - Building on the recent Intel Centrino 2 launch for notebook PCs in July, Intel unveiled its first-ever mobile-focused quad-core laptop workstation, ‘Intel Core 2 Extreme’ processor. While the products include four cores, they only use 45 watts of power.
Motorola Sparrow Concept

Motorola could certainly do with a concept device such as this - the Motorola Sparrow. This handheld device was specially designed to offer retail stores with a mobile Point-of-Sale gizmo by decentralizing from the check out point, helping customers avoid long sales queues during the hectic weekend. Combined features include a scanner, point of sale (POS) system, RFID, communication and credit card reading capabilities. The front and back areas of the Sparrow are touch-sensitive, supposedly easing their use and navigation.

Archos back with a special in-car holder for their Archos 605 WiFi portable media player line - the Archos GPS In-Car Holder. Priced at $130, the add-on offers a GPS navigation functionality which can be viewed the maps on 605 WiFi device. The holder connects to the car windshield and stereo system, and creating a full voice and video navigation system through a line out.
