SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — HP introduced its new mini-notebook pc ‘2133’ to gain a greater share of educational spending on computers.
The mini-notebook pc, which goes on sale April 15, was designed with feedback from educators. Running on VIA C7-M processor, it adopts 8.9-inch screen with 1280 x 768(WXGA) resolution, full qwerty keyboard, touch pad and a VGA webcam.
Suggested price is around 500(USD) for a version based on the open-source Linux operating system, and 600(USD) for one based on Microsoft’s (MSFT) Windows XP or Vista.
