Panasonic showcased the world’s first Micro Four Thirds system camera LUMIX DMC-G1 in red color during CEATEC 2008 held in Japan.
Based on the new Micro Four Thirds System standard, the LUMIX G1 eliminates the internal mirror structure that defines digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras, thus reducing the size and weight by nearly half.

Great News Blog - Panasonic launched its high-end, compact digital camera ‘Lumix LX3′ aimed at DSLR users in Korea market.
At the core of the LX3 is a large, ultra-sensitive 1/1.63-inch 10.1M CCD that provides a generous amount of space for each pixel while offering superb sensitivity and a wide dynamic range made possible by maximizing the size of the photodiode.
